(NEW!) Plagiarism: Probably the "Worst Sin" a 'Journalist' Can Commit
There is something technically known as 'plagiarism' which scholars and other creative enterprises really sneer at. It refers to the practice (perfected by some) of shamelessly copying words; phrases or even entire articles; even studies and then attributing it as your own.
The plagiarism menace seems to be less reported in Kenya. So you can understand the consternation, recently, seeing an entire story penned by 'yours truly' published in someone else name: completely! Of course, the plagiarist in this instance was privy to the entire issue. What little intellectual decency could have been to just attempt even a slight variant to the story; but alas, no!
